studio

Woodbyrd Studio, fall 2009My husband built my studio for me, finishing it in 2005.  It sits on the slope above our home, nestled in the forest.

As you can see, it’s an A-frame, and the loft has been designated “The Dreaming Loft”–a place to sleep and welcome really good dreams.

My main work table is a glass-topped collage that I made back in 2003.  It has pictures of our family, quotes, favorite artworks, and postcards under the glass.  It’s also huge–4 feet by 8 feet.

One of my many projects is to create a video Studio Tour.  Currently I am painting the interior walls white and the floor blue, and when this is done I’ll have some fun with the video camera.
